Who'll always be there
To take time to listen
To help out, to care


A friend should be someone
Who makes you feel good
Who's able to cheer you
When no one else could

A friend should be warm
Understanding and true
Someone you trust
Who will let you be you

But all of these things
That a good friend should be
Is just a small part
Of what you are to me
